[稲葉高志出展作品解説]
今回の出展作品「gene (遺伝子)」と「nerve (神経)」は2007年に制作したものです。
生物的だけでなく文化的・民族的な遺伝をテーマにした作品でした。
今回の展覧会に出品する作品を考えている時、今よく目につく新型コロナウイルスのイメージ画像を見ていて「この形、なんか見たことあるな～」と思って気が付いたのがこの作品でした。
本来はウイルスの形状をイメージして制作したものではありませんが、今回この作品を出展することにしました。

It will be an exhibition that mixes old works and new works.

"BOSS'HIKO, Ichiko Miwa, Takashi Inaba 3 person exhibition" will be closed until May 6th.
Therefore, I will upload the images of my exhibited works.
We will also enhance the release of the works of the artists of pad GALLERY on the website.

[Statement of the works exhibited by Takashi Inaba]
The exhibited works "gene" and "nerve" were created in 2007.
It was a work on the theme about genetic inheritance of cultural and ethnic as well as biological.
When I was thinking about the works to be exhibited for this exhibition, I noticed the image of the new type of coronavirus, which I often see, and thought, "I've seen this shape before.".
Originally, it was not created by imagining the shape of a virus, but I decided to exhibit this work this time.
